Gregory Hwang Tweets a Photo of Himself with SM Entertainment Artists
Gregory Hwang, a choreographer for SM Entertainment, tweeted a photo of himself posing with Hyoyeon, Yuri, Yoona, and other SM Entertainment artists during a rehearsal. These artists participated together in a dance battle at “SMTOWN Live World Tour III” held in Seoul.

OnStyle Releases Behind-the-Scenes Video of Tiffany’s “1st Look” Photoshoot
On August 13th, OnStyle released footage from Tiffany’s photoshoot with “1st Look”. The video includes a short interview with Tiffany, as well as behind-the-scenes clips of the shoot. In particular, Tiffany’s short hair in some of the shots have garnered a lot of attention.
Girls’ Generation Performs at ‘SMTOWN Live World Tour III’ in Seoul
On August 18th, 2012, Girls’ Generation performed alongside fellow SM Entertainment artists at Seoul Olympic Stadium for the fourth successive “SMTOWN Live World Tour III” concert. The first three were held at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California in the United States, Hsinchu County Stadium in Taipei, Taiwan, and Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan. The “SMTOWN Live World Tour III” concert featured performances by Girls’ Generation, Kangta, BoA, TVXQ, The Grace, Super Junior, SHINee, f(x), EXO-M, EXO-K, Zhang Liyin, and J-Min.
On the day before the concert, a welcome party and rehearsal plus fanmeet were held as part of an international tour package for fans who made reservations through easternrooms. TRAX’s Jungmo and BeatBurger’s Shim Jaewon performed at the welcome party. Shim Jaewon DJ’d remixes of Girls’ Generation’s “Genie”, “MR. TAXI”, and “The Boys”, along with other songs by SM Entertainment artists. Some fans received fortune cookies with messages from SM artists. After the welcome party, which included a dinner, fans were directed to Seoul Olympic Stadium to watch rehearsals for the concert. Fans were able to see Taeyeon, Tiffany, and Seohyun perform “Twinkle” at the rehearsal. They also talked to the fans and got them excited about the next day’s concert.
The “Music Nation SMTOWN” proclamation ceremony, a parade where thirty different countries were represented and that resembled the opening ceremonies of the Olympics, was held before the start of the concert. A fan from each country held his or her nation’s flag while walking alongside SM artists. Afterwards, Taeyeon and other artists sang the opening song “Dear My Family”.
During the concert, Girls’ Generation performed a similar set of songs as they did in the previous three “SMTOWN Live World Tour III” concerts. Taeyeon started off with her impressive “Devil’s Cry” performance and was then joined by the rest of her members for “Run Devil Run”. The girls also performed “Genie”, “MR. TAXI”, “Kissing You”, and “The Boys”. Girls’ Generation – TTS performed “Twinkle”, and Jessica carried on the tradition of singing Katy Perry’s “California Gurls” with her sister Krystal of f(x). The fans were once again able to enjoy the collaboration performance of Usher’s “DJ Got Us Fallin’ In Love” by Taeyeon, Tiffany, Seohyun, and EXO members D.O., Luhan, Sehun, and Chanyeol. Hyoyeon, Yuri, and Yoona also amazed the crowd by performing in a special dance battle with other SM artists. This dance battle was not performed in the previous “SMTOWN Live World Tour III” concerts.
The next “SMTOWN Live World Tour III” concert will be held at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium in Jakarta, Indonesia on September 22nd.
Video from Jessica’s Photoshoot for the September Issue of ‘W Korea’ Released
Jessica is featured in the September issue of “W Korea” magazine, continuing her career as not only a singer in Girls’ Generation, but also as a model. The official YouTube channel for the magazine released behind-the-scenes footage of what’s in store for the issue.
In the video, Jessica can be seen in different outfits portraying various concepts and emotions, many of which display her stunning beauty and mature style. The director revealed, “The concept for this photoshoot was to bring the ‘scent of a woman’ out of Jessica. We coordinated her outfits with jewelry for the main theme of the photoshoot. For example, we had a black and white outfit with a color red as the point.”
This is not the first time Jessica has been featured in “W Korea”, and each feature has been nothing short of breath-taking. The September issue of “W Korea” is now on sale, so make sure to keep an eye out for the magazine.

The Girls’ Commemorative Stamps Sales Goes Postal
Remember the earlier announcement about the release of a set of commemorative Korean stamps featuring the 9 ladies of SNSD ? Well, guess what ? At the official sales launch of these items in Korea today (9th August 2012), within a space of 1 hour, half of the total allocated sales stock flew off the shelves into the hands of happy SONEs and stamp collectors alike

These set of stamps, specially created by Choi Jinwook, the postal team leader at Seoul Central Post Office, were released for sale at 10 am today (Korean time) and within an hour, almost 600 sets (out of a total sales allocation of1,200 sets) were sold

Designed to commemorate the 5th Anniversary of our 9 favourite (not to mention also, highly talented) young ladies, they feature photos from Soshi’s third Korean album “The Boys”, as well as images from their past album releases like “Oh!” and “Hoot!”, making a total of 14 stamps altogether.
Each stamp featuring an individual image of the 9 ladies also comes with an autograph of the person gracing it. Now, that’s what I call a good sales gimmick indeed

The price of each stamp set ? Only 20,000 Korean Won.
Now, before international SONEs go fretting about the unfairness of it all, good news is available. These stamps can actually be pre-ordered from YesAsia and will be shipped out when they are released for worldwide sales on the 17th of August 2012. (Yay !)

Back From Japan Once Again!
Once again our girls are back in SK! They are returning from their SMTown World Tour III Tokyo, which will broadcast in October.
Sooyoung Sheds Tears After Wrapping Up Filming
Sooyoung has finally finished the filming for her upcoming drama titled ‘The 3rd Hospital’ after 5 long months. It was Sooyoung’s last day as Lee Euijin, the character that she played in the drama.
It was reported that immediately after hearing the word ‘Cut!’ from the director, Oh Ji Ho, whom Sooyoung had the most scenes within the drama, brought out a cake to celebrate and congratulate her on her final shoot. The other cast and crew of the drama showered her with applause and cheers and as she blew the candles, Sooyoungburst into tears.
Also to show her gratitude to everyone, Sooyoung surprised the staff by giving them a handwritten letter, an autographed CD, and a cosmetic set for over a hundred staff members.
This doesn’t end here as Sooyoung recently visited tvN’s ‘Comedy Big League 3′, she wasn’t there just to watch the show but to promote her upcoming drama as well.
Meanwhile, The 3rd Hospital will start airing on September 5.
